Caseload: K-12 Students
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Special Education (required)
- Valid Alaska Special Education Teaching License
- Prior experience with remote special education teaching preferred
- Successful completion of tech screening (required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and case management for K-12 students with disabilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct instruction to students both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to create effective learning plans and interventions
- Guide and support students to achieve their educational goals and reach their full potential
- Regularly update and maintain accurate student records and progress reports
- Design and implement instructional strategies aligned with general education curriculum
